The Capitol Part Two

Francesca's Collections Sweater / Target Turtleneck (on sale for $8 bucks!) / Express Ponte Knit Leggings / Timberland Snow Boots (old) / Fraas Scarf (c/o) / Aritzia Beanie (super old... and the first gift ever from my BF :)

Am I the only one who is completely over winter? I really hope Punxsutawney Phil is wrong as usual and that winter will be over soon enough instead of disrupting us with it's presence for another 6 weeks. Speaking of winter, these are my last set of pictures from my Madison trip in December. Can't believe it's been over a month since I saw my BFF!

My layering experiments continue! In this outfit I have on sweater tights, ponte knit leggings, thick socks, and snow boots on bottom; tank top, turtle neck, flowy sweater, and a scarf on top. I was pleasantly surprised by how warm this kept me even though most of the layers were pretty thin on their own.

Although we visited the Madison Capitol last time I was in Madison, we decided to make a quick stop by again on this trip. The ornate black doors are my favorite detail in the whole building - even though it'd be more appropriately placed in a castle! But maybe that's why I love them so much :)

I would not have survived the mounds of snow piles in Madison if it weren't for my every trusty snow boots. In case polar vortex part III is headed our way soon, shop some snow boot options below!

Stay warm & fashionable my friends!
