Ferris Wheel

Thunder Gate outside of Sensoji Temple

What started as a rainy day ended as a very snowy day

 Snowy Tokyo

Day Outfit 2: Coat: Michael Kors via Nordstrom (similar) Skinny Jeans: Express Boots: Carlos Santana via TJ Maxx (old - similar) Scarf: H&M (similar) Purse: Nine West (old - similar)

Why am I showing you a picture of French toast? I am glad you asked. We stayed at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo and one morning we had the. best. french. toast. of. my life. It was perfectly crispy and fluffy and cinnamon-y and topped with berries it was pure ecstasy in my mouth... so much so that I had to order a second plate! Moral of this story: go to Tokyo and eat French toast at the Grand Hyatt.

Failing at trying to "hold" the Ferris Wheel :)

Does it look like the Ferris Wheel is some sort of headpiece?

Venus Fort in Odaiba a futuristic area of Tokyo. It really reminded me of The Venetian (which I will share pictures of when we went in Macau!) with the architecture and the cloud artwork on the ceiling. I loved this fountain in the middle of the shopping mall.

Since it was super cold, I tried to layer on as much as possible. I even kept a spare pair of socks in my purse because mine got damp the day before in the snow!

Day 2 Outfit: Coat: Michael Kors via Nordstrom Rack Cardigan: Banana Republic (old - similar) Sweater: Banana Republic (old - similar) Jeans: Loehmans (old - similar & super cute) Boots: Carlos Santana via TJ Maxx (similar) Sunglasses: Jessica Simpson via TJ Maxx (super similar) Scarf: H&M Necklace: The Limited Purse: Nine West (old) Gloves: H&M

 Watch: Michael Kors Ring: Mom's
Inside the Toyota Showroom in Odaiba. Loved this "bookshelf" of mirrored/opaque boxes. If you look closely you might be able to see my bf in one of the mirrors :)

Caught a quick shot of the sunrise before we headed out on the monorail!

Aha! And you thought I wouldn't get my post up on time and you could steal a pair of shoes from my closet, didn't you? Think again! (If you have no idea what I am talking about please refer to yesterday's post here)

The snow was an unexpected surprise and unfortunately we were unable to go to a Japanese garden like I had been dreaming about *sigh* I guess there's always next time! You may have noticed that I keep repeating the same jewelry over and over again (as seen here, here, and here), I am actually not a huge jewelry girl. Once I find a few pieces I love, they become my go-to's and I end up putting them on without a second thought every morning. All my coworkers will probably tell you that I have been wearing those 3 pieces (necklace/watch/ring) non-stop for months now!

I forgot to include this instagram picture on my Sushi & Shoes post but I found a photobooth in Tokyo and went a little crazy! I can't believe how huge my eyes look and how flawless my face looks! I need that kind of feature on my camera ;)

I hope you have a GREAT weekend! I will be busy busy but will be updating my instagram frequently... hope you'll follow me along :)
