Laundry by Shelli Segal Quilted Jacket via Nordstrom Rack (save, spend, splurge) / Philip Lim x Target BOOM Sweater (similar) / Urban Behavior Jeans (super duper old, naturally distressed over the years) / Old Navy Long-Sleeve Shirt / JustFab Pemberley Booties / JustFab Prodigy Bag / H&M Knit Infinity Scarf (old)
So back to the BOOM - I went just as crazy for the Philip Lim x Target collection as everyone else. I was up at 1-2 am, scouring the twitter hashtag for all the links that were slowly but surely coming out. I ordered way too many pieces from the collection and although I loved the clothing in person, nothing fit! It was definitely a very roomy line and thus everything was returned. Enter Target clearance racks... I was going rack by rack one day when this BOOM sweatshirt caught my eye - I originally wasn't sold on it from the pictures online but in person it was so soft that I snatched it up for... $8 bucks!!! Now that's a bargain! (Currently available online for $21)
This outfit isn't something you'd normally see me in... for a girl who will use any reason to dress up, it's super casual. Plus all the layers! I am slowly learning how to dress in the winter people (FYI, I suck at it). Throw a long-sleeve tee-shirt on under a sweatshirt, wear a pair of sweater tights under your distressed denim, add on a knit infinity scarf and top it off with a quilted jacket to keep you nice and insulated.
I hope everyone has a great weekend!
